Red Peppercorn Chowder

Red Peppercorn Chowder (Frontier Soups)

 

Cook Time: 30 minutes

 

Ingredients:

5 cups chicken broth

1 cup cream (heavy, half & half, or milk)

 

Optional:

2 cups scallops, peeled shrimp, or precooked cut-up chicken

 

Directions:

1. In a 4-quart saucepan bring broth to a bow, add Chowder Mix.

2. Cover and simmer 15 minutes

3. Add cream and seafood, if desired, and continue cooking on low 10 minutes more.

4. Turn off heat, let stand 5 minutes and serve.
