Anyone been to a particular baseball stadium you recommend visiting?
I've traveled to several over the past couple of years, and I have to say that Wrigley Field is one of my faves so far.
I'm excited for the new Twins stadium next year, though it might be a little chilly without a roof in April (and October!)
Also looking forward to going to LA and Oakland in July (maybe even catch a Giants game in San Francisco).
I can't wait for the Twins to open their new outdoor stadium! I've been to a handful of ballparks and have to say Safeco Field in Seattle is my favorite. Retractable roof for those rainy days and the panoramic views of the mountains and city skyline are just awesome. Now if the Mariners could only put together a great team they'd be in business!
I've only been to four...but plan to eventually see them all! :) My top pick so far is Coors Field. The view is amazing (mountains to one side, downtown Denver to the other) the location is sweet and the atmosphere is fun. I highly recommend sitting in the Rockpile. Tickets are cheap ($4) and the field view is outstanding!
...and I can't wait for Target Field either! I've got great memories in the Dome, but nothing compares to outdoor baseball!!
I like watching games at Miller Park, the only problem is that when I am there I an stuck in Wisconsin watching the Brewers. Gotta go with the Twins in 2010!!!
Miller Park isn't bad...the Sausage Races, and the Slide out in LC! Great entertainment even if you aren't a baseball fan!
Newman Outdoor Stadium. Nothing better than outdoor baseball and a cold Boulevard Ale. And on a warm day with a nice westerly wind you can even catch a hint of the arom that is the Fargo Dump...
AND if you get there before the game starts... cheap PBR Pounders!
Busch Stadium!
Watched the Cardinals play the Giants the year that stadium opened.
Fantastic!
O.T. ;
It was hilarious how creative some of the cardinal fans were with their home made, anti-Bonds shirts!
